#50 is an exceptionally prolific blooming hybrid. Its mass effect is unsurpassed, and the coloration is inclined to purplish pink in the edge. Individually it is not so attractive as its petals are somewhat narrow. So far I found it seed sterile, but I would like to keep on trying to pollinate with the pollen of certain hybrids or species. I like this photograph as it is side lighting (taken at 09.30 a.m.), so that it looks 3 dimensional.
