One of the most beautiful garden Roses we have seen this summer was shown by Messrs. Paul and Son, The Old Nurseries, Cheshunt, before the Royal Horticultural Society on the 14th ult., when it was given an award of merit. It may be described as almost a single Rose, but some of the flowers are semi-double and the fragile petals are coloured with several exquisite shades—salmon, coppery rose, and yellow, mingling and producing a very charming effect.
