After what seems like a lifetime, but in reality it’s actually only two years, Marvel’s Eternals is finally heading to the big screen in November.

The action flick, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, features an impressive and diverse cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani and Salma Hayek.

In anticipation of its release, Weekly entertainment produced a set of 10 character-driven digital covers, which featured the aforementioned actors as well as Richard Madden, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan and Don Lee.

Jolie, who appears in her character’s tight-fitting structured costume on her respective cover, has spoken of working on the highly anticipated film given Zhao’s somewhat unconventional methods.

“It was really like she was pulling something more personal from us, from a deeper side of ourselves,” Jolie said of the Nomadic country director. “She wasn’t looking to put something on us, like a character. She was looking for us to reveal ourselves as a character.”

The actress and UN Special Envoy doesn’t appear onscreen as often as she once did, but she has found Eternals’ overall structure difficult to resist. “I just wanted to be part of this family,” she told the magazine. “I have a little unconventional family myself, so it was familiar.”

Despite the sheer size of the cast, the members insist they all bonded throughout filming. Jolie apparently even threw a Halloween party for Eternals’ actors and crew – she went like a giraffe.

“Standing there next to each other, the first time we all stood in our costumes together and took off our secret cloaks and had to stand there for the shot, what you felt was just a lot support, ”Jolie said of the shoot. “We were smiling at each other and there was just a lot of cuteness.”
