Global girl group Lapillus stuns in first-ever digital magazine cover via Metro.Style – Manila Bulletin
Metro.Style “burns with love” for LAPILLUS. The members of this global girl group 一Shana, Yue, Chanty, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun 一are on fire, as they “hit” you with their sultry and fashion-forward visuals on the platform’s digital cover fashion and lifestyle.
Fresh off their successful two-week tour “HIT YA Pilipinas: Lapillus In Manila,” MLD Entertainment’s up-and-coming K-Pop girl group made a comeback via their debut mini album “GIRL’s Round Part. 1”, with the title track “GRATATA”. The milestone comes just months after they debuted on the music scene with digital single “HIT YA” last June.
With their achievements so far, the future looks bright for this group as they lift the spirits of their fans through their music. But not only are the LAPILLUS girls talented, they also serve up visuals, as seen in this exclusive Metro.Style editorial that marks their first-ever digital magazine cover. For this photoshoot, they wore ensembles from Filipino designers and fashion brands.
This cover was photographed by Ria Regino, under the creative direction of Chookie Cruz. The filming was carried out under the supervision of Subway editors Geolette Esguerra, Kate Paras-Santiago and Grace Libero-Cruz, with assistance from editor Red Dimaandal. Lapillus’ glam team consisted of makeup artist Yuna Choi, hairstylist Kyounghwa Woo and fashion stylist Yezi Kim. Myrrh Lao To’s style team, which includes Mack Bersalona, Josh Galang and Mai Chua, put together the wardrobe. CJ Reyes and Bria Cardenas handled the video executions, while writers Janelle Roa Cabrera-Paraiso and Mariel Abanes did the interviews. Filming took place at the Collab of the Sheraton Manila.
