Reese Witherspoon “sobbed” when she appeared on the cover of TIME magazine.

The “Big Little Lies” star admitted she was upset that her company Hello Sunshine was named one of TIME100’s most influential companies as she spoke about the importance of amplifying women.

She shared, “If you told myself in third grade, the one who started her first business customizing hair clips from her office, that one day she would be on the cover of Time Magazine as a wife of business, she would have said, ‘So that’s Rad!’ * or something very ’80s like that.

“Honestly, I can’t properly express how humiliating it is to be recognized by @time as a business leader. HelloSunshine. The minute my career started amplifying the voices of others women and creating more for others, the world opened up for me in the most incredible way. (sic) “

And Reese spoke about the importance of the “female partnership”, describing it as a “powerful fuel”.

Speaking to Instagram, she added, “I really thank all the amazing people I stand side by side with @hellosunshine. Without their endless creativity and endless hard work, this business would never become what it is. . Also, I just have to point out: WOMEN’S PARTNERSHIP is the MOST POWERFUL FUEL on the planet. Thanks to the extremely talented women who collaborated with me and shared their stories / screenplays / books with @hellosunshine and @reesesbookclub. My greatest hope is that this blanket can inspire other little girls to think “I can do that!” Because women will change the world. One story at a time. (sic) ”
