Rolling Stone Australia to publish Tones And I magazine cover as NFT
The Brag Media to Release Limited Edition NFT of Its Very First Rolling Stone Australia coverage next week, featuring the local global superstar Tones and I.
It comes in the middle of a big week for the singer-songwriter, who is releasing his debut album – Welcome to the psychiatric hospital – Friday July 16.
The initiative marks the first time in the masthead’s 53-year global history that a cover has been released as NFT, with a limited version priced at $ 230 each, and available starting July 19 at 12:00 p.m. EST. The sale will end 24 hours later and close at 12:00 p.m. AEST on July 20.
Those lucky enough to pick up one of 350 NFT Collector’s Packs, priced at $ 250, will also receive a physical copy of Rolling Stone Australia first issue (and out of print) signed and numbered by Tones And I, and an exclusive cassette of his first album.

The 350 collectors who get one of the lots will also have their names etched in history, and any NFT buyers willing to feature in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Australia in a spread designed by the magazine’s Australian creative director, Katie taylor.
In an Australian premiere, all sales of Tones And I x Rolling Stone Australia via thebrag.com’s new NFT store – built in partnership with Origin – will be ARIA Charts accredited.
The Managing Director of Brag Media, Luc Girgis, said the release of NFT presents a revolutionary opportunity to continue its mission of supporting Australian artists.

The Brag Media also presented Tones And I with their first Rolling Stone diamond ring at a special event at Sony Music, a new initiative where every person was on the cover of Rolling Stone Australia receives his own diamond ring to mark the occasion.
The NFT Tones And I x Rolling Stone Australia, along with all 350 collectible packs, will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. AEST on Wednesday, July 19 at the new NFT store at thebrag.com.
The Brag Media chose Origin, an NFT platform using Ethereum blockchain technology, to power the new store. Its co-founder, Matthew Liu, praised the partnership.
